Does Duphaston Cause Facial Hair?
Hi! I was using duphaston 10mg twice daily due to menorrhagia. I heard that it causes abnormalities and facial hair? So I left it. My periods are now coming with heavy clots. should i continue using duphaston or leave it? I m scared that I might get facial hair.

I really appreciate your concern, if the menorrhagia is long lasting and happening often then it may need hormone therapy else the chances of developing anemia and low hemoglobin is very likely, in very long term use hormone may have some side effect but where it is highly indicative side effects need not be taken seriously, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
