Does Doxycycline Cause Headaches, Nausea, Tingling Feet And Hands Along With Diarrhea?
I have been taking Doxycycline 50 mg twice a day for approximately one week. It was treatment for dry eye. I stopped yesterday because I was having headaches, nausea, tingling feet and hands along with a little diareaha. Does this medicine cause that. I stopped yesterday morning and I still have the symtpms. Are there withdrawal symptoms from this medicine?

Hi, i do care for your concern.
The general side effect of antibiotic is destruction of normal gut bacteria also.
This may cause diarrohea, nausea and headache to some extent.
i would advise
To start on probiotic such as symbiotik along with our antibiotic for three days duration, this will definitely help.
If symptoms persist consulting physician to change antibiotic is advised.
