Does Dervia-C For Pimples Cause Any Side Effects

My dermatologist advised me to use Deriva - C on my pimples. I just broke one. Is it Ok for use it on that area? Also I found that Deriva- C with Vitamin C makes problems. I drank glass of Watermelon Juice with lime and passion fruit juice in the evening. Does it makes any problems?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain Deriva C contains active ingredients as Adapelene that is a retinoid and Clindamycin that is an antibiotic..
In case if you have a broken pimple you can still apply the ointment on it as it will help in reducing infection is effective.
In case if you are applying the cream topically then taking Vitamin C is not going to cause any serious side effects so you need not to worry about it and can continue the application of the ointment as advised.
You can also wash your face with Salicylic acid facewash..
Apply benzoyl peroxide gel over the pimples..
Exfoliate your skin weekly to unclog the pores.
Do cool compresses over pimples..
Avoid oily foods and drink plenty of water..
