Does Cortisone Injection Cause Diarrhoea And Vomiting?
My husband had a cortisone shot in his spine yesterday. He began having stomach issues around 6pm that progressed to diarrhea and vomiting. His Doctor doesn t have a call line and I m trying to sort if I need to call 911. He has had these symptoms before, related to his pain pills (Tylenol 3 with codeine, prescribed but sometimes taken too frequently), and he isn t always honest with me about if that is the cause.

Yes diarrhoea and vomiting can occur with cortisone shot
Tylenol and codeine dont cause diarrhoea rather they cause constipation
Presently give him tablet lomotil and tablet ondansetron for symptomatic relief
