Does Carvedilol Cause Pain In The Legs?

I can Carvedilol cause pain going down the side of your leg? I had this experience with klorCon and it went away when I stopped taking it. After having Carvedilol dosage increased to 50 mg daily I am experiencing the same side effect. J My email is YYYY@YYYY

Yes, it can cause pain in the legs as its side effect. Carvedilol is a beta-adrenergic blocking agent (beta-blocker) used to treat high blood pressure, heart failure, and left ventricular dysfunction after a heart attack.

Its most common side effects include decreased heartbeat, cold or clammy skin, fatigue, weakness, erectile dysfunction, difficulty in breathing especially in patients with bronchial asthma or COPD.

Pain in the leg seems to be due to one of the side effects of Carvedilol which appears to be due to dose-dependent. I advise you to consult your treating doctor for an alternate effective but a safer medication or to adjust the dose of Carvedilol.
