Does Carbimazole Cause Increased Appetite And Weight Gain?

Hi, I was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism (Graves Disease) and lost 6 kilos within 3 weeks. I was prescribed PTU for 4 weeks and only just yesterday started taking Carbimazole. Since medication I have put the weight back on and have felt more hungry than I normally would be. Can I lose any weight on these pills? i have been exercising about 4 times a week.

it should not increase weight within one day. can consult endocrinologist regarding side effect of treatment. carbimazole does not have such side effect except some skin rashes or itching. you can not loose your weight with this drug. it is specific for hyperthyroidism. can consult physician for other problem.
