Does Byetta Have Any Side Effects?
Soon will start on byetta and very worried about side effects. Have adhesions in my lower right side intestates. Have pain with it ,area growing together and they were unable to do colon tests due to this. Have Epidodes of diarrhea but at all cost try to avoid constipation due to stricture. Will colace be a option if needed. 2 question - take hydrochorchorethizide and losartan ,concerned about kidneys. 66 yr old female 170 pounds diabetic 8 yrs

Common side effects of byetta are headache, nausea and low blood sugar. Many people also lose weight while on byetta and that can be helpful if you are diabetic and overweight. Colace is an option or fiber supplement to avoid constipation. Hydrochlorothiazide is a drug commonly used to treat hypertension and should be safe. Losartan is a drug often used for hypertension and is known to protect the kidneys in diabetics so it is an excellent drug for you to be on
