Does Bupropion Cause Depression And Emotionally Unstable?
I HAVE BEEN TAKING BUPROPION HCL FOR MILD DEPRESSION AND ALSO TO HELP TO QUIT SMOKING. I VE BEEN ON THIS FOR 2 WEEKS. I FEEL MORE DEPRESSED AND EMOTIONAL AND ITS DONE NOTHING TO HELP WITH THE SMOKING. I UNDERSTAND IT TAKES TIME TO GET INTO THE SYSTEM BUT I M CONCERNED ABOUT MY EMOTIONAL STATE OF MIND. I CAN T FUNCTION LIKE THIS. ANY SUGGESTION?

please consider tapering and stopping bupropion and starting sertraline or starting a moodstabiliser.consult a psychiatrist for thorough checkup.thank youi

bupropion is better treatment for tobaco de addiction. many times we see people who quit tobacco have some depressive symptoms, irritability issue, emotionally unstable because if nicotine wash effect. so i will suggest continue treatment atleast 1 month if not improved than consult agsin psychiatrist.
