Does Bupropion Cause A Bad Smell?

Does Bupropion cause a bad smell? I was on it a couple of weeks as well as Calcitriol and everything had a horrible smell. Does either of these meds fall into the family of Cymbalta. I couldn t take cymbalta due to everything smelling so weird. Please advise.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

All medications have potential side effects, these are effects that may or may not occur.

Bupropion , however, is not associated with this particular side effect.

It is not in the same family of drugs as cymbalta. Cymbalta is a SSRI whereas bupropion is in the aminoketone class.
They are not related.

I hope this helps
