Does Benicar Cause Constant Hissing And Thumping Sound In The Head?
I have a constant hissing, thumping sound in my head all of the time. The ear Dr. said it is tinitus and nothing can be done about it. Some times I think I am going to go crazy with it. Does a drug name Benicar cause this(for high blood pressure) It seems to me it does.

There are some medications that may be associated with tinnitus but benicar is not known to cause this problem.
Some of the medications associated with tinnitus are aspirin, lasix, ibuprofen, naproxen, some antibiotics, some chemotherapy drugs.
If you are consistently using any of the above then it is potential cause.
In some persons no exact cause is found.
