Does Bactrim Cause Swelling In The Lips And Tingling Sensation In The Upper Arm?
Have a surgical wound on top of head, removal of pilar cyst. Post-op lots of drainage, wound started to split open after sutures removed. Placed on Bactrim BID, since last Thursday. Now with very very slight lower lip puffiness, tingling, left upper arm with one episode of pain, weakness, no chest pain. Now with occasional itching on cheeks. Do you think this is medication side effects? Histor of MRSA. Allergic to penicillin, codiene, lidocaine, novacaine. Thank you

The symptoms seem to be related to an allergic reaction to Bactrim.
I suggest you take antihistamines.
