Does Amaryl Interact With Metformin?

Sorry did not know you are on line I was writing the side effects of med before I go to heart doctor on Thursday I like to make sure I am not having any side effects Do you think amaryl 4mg with metformin 500 mg is safe so many saying not good drug some say destroy liver I take cardizem cd 120 q day Diavan/160 Amaryl 4 mg q day Metformin 500 tid

Hi,

Amaryl and Metformin are used to treat high blood sugar levels. There is no interaction so far between them.

The only side effect noted is hypoglycemia. Do monitor your blood sugar levels and record the results. If low, please consult your doctor as need to adjust the dosage (lower the actual dose).
