Yes, Aleve may interact with Lovenox. The
non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug Aleve (Naproxen) when taken along with anti-coagulant drug Lovenox (
Enoxaparin) can increase the risk of bleeding complications. You may need a dose adjustment or more frequent monitoring by your doctor to safely use both medications.
Aleve can also interact with the antibiotic Ciproflox, when taken together it may increase the effects of
Ciprofloxacin such as tremors, involuntary muscle movements,
hallucinations, or seizures. You may need a dose adjustment. And Ciprofloxacin when used along with
Tamoxifen, it can increase the risk of an irregular heart rhythm due to prolonged QT interval that may be serious and potentially life-threatening condition.
You are advised to consult your treating doctor for an alternate effective but a safer medication for the pain relief and to treat the infection appropriately.
