Hello,
Thank you for your question and welcome to Health Care Magic. I read your query and I understand your concern.
In response to your question, I would say yes, weather changes can lead to severe
body cramps. They are called
heat cramps, which are muscle spasms that result from loss of large amount of salt and water during long periods of exercise or physical labor, particularly in hot weather and may begin a few hours later. The reason of this event is due to inadequate consumption of fluids or electrolytes.
I would strongly recommend you consume adequate fluids, especially when you stay outside, in order to prevent further events. Regarding the cramps you are having I would advice you to
massage your body parts which are suffering and stretch it. Use a warm towel or
heating pad on tense or tight muscles. I would also advice you to take a warm bath, which can relief your pain.
I hope it helped. For further concerns or follow up questions, feel free to ask again.
Take Care,
Dr. Ina
