Do We Require Thyroid Operation While Taking Thorax For Treatment For Thyroid?

My mom Doctor prescribed a thorax 100 mg and I think this is for her thyroid which is they are also suggesting for thyroid operation because its big in her neck but she is afraid to go on operation at her age 70yrs old, does she ned to take this operation or thyrax 100mg helps without operation? Thanks

If your mother is having thyroid dysfunction either hypothyroidism or hypethyroidism then this can be well treated with the medicine and does not require any surgery, if the thyroid gland developing some kind of tumor or cyst then this may requires surgery, hope this information helps you, have good time
