Hi,

I understand that your right shoulder is tender to touch and also radiates into your armpit with partial numbness on the back of your arm. This usually comes from a nerve / muscular involvement that can be a mechanical pain due to overuse or wrong posture. Usually heart attack pains radiate mainly to left shoulder but in case you have any more symptoms or risk factors for a heart disease please visit your physician to run some blood tests, ECG and X-rays for a definitive diagnosis.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Preeti Jolly, Endocrinologist
