I had surgery five and a half weeks ago and i have one disolvable stitch that won t come out/dissolve. I am nervous it needs to be removed. Should i have a doctor remove it or is it normal for it to take this long for it to didsolve? All the others were gone weeks ago.

There are two kind of stitch, one is dissovable other is non dissovable.. Non dissovable needs cutting while dissovable requires no cutting.
