Hi..
Thanks for the query..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..
Your symptoms are not appearing to be due to Thrush but looks like either
Geographic tongue that is due to formation of smooth pink to red patches over the tongue..
Geographic Tongue leads to disappearance of tongue Papillae from some portions of tongue leading to bald or smooth patches on tongue.
The exact cause is not known but it is considered to be genetic in origin..
Other causes can be stress, excessive consumption of citrus fruits and spicy foods, deficiency of vitamins,
hormonal disturbance and allergy.
As there is pain or soreness in tongue you can gargle with numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine, take
Ibuprofen for pain and do cold water rinses, you can apply a
steroid ointment over the tongue and take zinc supplements, take
multivitamin supplements, avoid spicy food..
Little blood on the tip of tongue that also hurts can be due to inflammation and nothing serious..
So do not worry about it..
Please write back if you have more queries..
Hope this information helps..
Regards.
