Do Patients With Hashimoto's Swing Between Hypothyroidism And Hyperthyroidism?

Do patients with Hashimoto's swing between hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism? Do they ever suffer pschotic episodes? Over the past couple of years I had symptoms of both hypo and hyper mimicing bipolar. Now I am on thyroxine for hypothyrodisim but still feel as though I have lingering low grade depression.

Dear user, hashimotos thyroiditis usually goes through phases of hyper thyroidism, followed by hypothyroidism and finally becoming euthyroid or remaining hypothyroid for ever. it does not keep fluctuating, it only passes through these phases once. regards!
