Do Night Sweats, Joint Pain And Rashes Post Unprotected Sex Suggest HIV Infection?

Doctor I am suspected that I having infected with hiv virus . I did a sexual relationship with a lady after that I knew that she was not good . I touch her vagina twice when my penis was in ejection time. I have saw a rash in my back side of the body . And it was gone after 2 days . From the 2nd day I felt night sweating. After that I feel body pain especially joint pain . Doctor I am being afraid that I am infected by hiv.

Thanks for posting your query.

These are not the symptoms of HIV but it could be due to other sexually transmitted disease.

I advise you to get tested you Sexually Transmitted Disease immediately including HIV . Also if possible get that lady tested for Sexually Transmitted Disease.

If at all you can't get that lady tested I would advise you to take medicines for possible HIV exposure so that it may not harm you. This kind of medication is called Post exposure prophylaxis. Ask your doctor for that.

Also practise safe sex hence forth.
