Do Lumps And Headaches Caused By Trauma Need Investigation?

I got punched in the head several times in the same spot on my temple and had a CT scan which turned out okay. I have a very hard lump in the center of my left temple the size of a large pea that will not go away. Its been over 5 weeks since the injury and I ve been having moderate headaches. The lump itself doesn t hurt. looks like I have a bug bite on my temple. Do you have any recommendations for home remedies, or should I see a doctor?

Hi.This is Dr Muneeb Ali. I am here to help you regarding this problem. i am very sorry to hear thst you are facing discomfort. first of all let me tell you that sometimes after repeated stimuli of hitting head multiple times by hard object can lead to the development of osteoid osteoma which is a benign bony lesion and there is no need to get worried. But i would recommend for your satisfaction thst you should get an xray skull done and meet neurosurgeon regarding this problem. if it doesn't hurt thn there is no danger sign.
