Do Low Levels Of Vitamin D3 And B12 Cause Digestive Problems?

Hi, I am suffering from undigested food and sticky stool last one year. 11 month back, I did sonography, barrium test and colonoscopy but nothing unusual has been seen in the report. Doctor (Gastrointerologist) says your food transit time is fast but no need to worry as your weight is more or less constant. 1 month back, i had vitamin D3 and Vitamin B12 report. Vitamin D3(8.4) and Vitamin B12 is just 112 which is very low. Now i understand my body is not absorbing vitamins properly. What to do please do needfull.

Hello,

It is unrelated to vitamin deficiency. Possible causes like IBS irritable bowel syndrome must be ruled out.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain
