Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that the symptoms of fever, chills along with pain and parotid swelling are all due to infection in parotid gland and can be most probably bacterial in nature..
Increased Eosinophil count is an indication of infection..
As the symptoms subsided with antibiotics, it further indicate bacterial infection..
In case if you have started getting slight pain in the parotid gland of other side there is a possibility that you have some infection in the other Parotid gland getting flared up..
You should consult a general physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like saliva culture, blood tests can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done..
You might be advised another course of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory painkillers and also Drink plenty of water..
Do cool compresses over the gland..
Take sufficient rest..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
