Do Enlarged Adenoids Cause Fainting?

My 5 yr old son was just found to have enlarged adenoids. He also has a history of fainting. We thought they were seizures- but EEG came back normal. It seems to happen at least once a year and i am just wondering if there is any correlation between the enlarged adenoids and the fainting.
