General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Blood present in the drained fluid from the lungs along with enlarged lymph nodes and spotting in the lungs could be caused either due to infection or cancer.
Kindly wait for the histopathology report of the biopsy material and fluid analysis report, which would tell what could be the cause for it, so that proper treatment can be instituted. Her erratic heartbeat could be due to loss of blood and other associated lesions in and around the heart.
Kindly wait for the report and further management accordingly.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
