Do Levothyroxine, Tresiba And Propranolol Cause Swelling Behind The Eyes?

I am on levothyroxine, tresiba, propanolol, enalapril, Vit D, simvastatin, venlafaxine, metformin, and a quick acting insulin. Having problems with vision now in only `1 eye. Optometrist told me there was some slight swelling of fluid in back of eye. Would this be side effect of any of these meds?

Hi

Greetings from HealthcareMagic!

You had listed all the used by you for different purposes. That is a very good thing. All the commonly used drugs will be having different side effects but only to little extent. In your case it seems it is not a side effect of medicines. In case of side effects both sides of body will effected. As you are suffering only with left eye, it may not be a negative effect of drug. Better to continue with all the medicines as usually. But be careful while using these many of drugs.

Take Care!
