Do I Need Physical Therapy For Numbness Of Feet And High Blood Pressure?

I am 64. I have numbing of both my feet. I have had back problems for 25 yrs but I have maintained my back issues throughout the yrs. Also I have HBP. Had surgery on my (R) ankle as I shattered my ankle. I just had a blood test which shows I do not have diabetes or anything the clinic tested me for. So, I am wondering if I should go into physical therapy or go to a back doctor or? What do you think it could be? The doctor I went to see just ordered a blood test.

Hello,
Numbness of feet may be due to various causes. As diabetes is one of the common cause and your sugar levels are normal so its not there because of this.
Numbness may be due to compression of nerves.Have some light physical exercise daily.Take some multivitamin tablets containing vitamin B12 and folic acid as there deficiency also causes numbness. There are various other medicines also available for that.If still you dont feel well then consult a medicine physician for this.
Hope this helps.
Thank you.
