Hi, Dear oommenisen,

Several factors and conditions may cause to high blood pressure.

Smoking, Being overweight or obesity, too much salt in the diet,Stress,Older age, family history of high blood pressure,Chronic kidney disease, Adrenal and thyroid disorders are more common in the list,

In as many (more than 90 %)the underlying cause cannot be determined. This type of high blood pressure is called essential hypertension.

When a direct cause for high blood pressure can be identified,(renal impairment) the condition is described as secondary hypertension.

According your history cause seems to be

essential hypertension. But your history is insufficient to narrow the causes.

that drug may not cause to this much of this high blood pressure. so.. you have to investigate the cause.
