Discomfort/soreness In Testicles After Unprotected Sex. Suggestions ?

I had unprotected sex with a girl and the next day and now 1 week later I still have some discomfort / soreness in my testicles...mainly right testicle. No redness/ or soreness to touch, no discharge ....just a ache that seems to never go away...what can you suggest? What do you think I may have? I m 40 in good shape and have never had this type of discomfort before?

Hello dear,
Pain in the testicular region can be attributed to:
1. Trauma
2. Inflammation/infection.

In your post you have not mentioned about history of trauma.
So an infective or inflammatory cause can be thought of ...such as orchitis or epididymo-orchitis.

Under such condition, you need to take antibiotics along with analgesics under the guidance of a Urologist.
There is nothing to worry...you will be fine.
Make sure you take the medications properly.
Also avoid wearing tight fitting underwear or trousers...so that pressure in the testicular area can be prevented.

Wishing a Good Health. Let me know if I need to clarify further.
Thanks & take care.
