Discomfort In Ankle, Feeling Of Lump Around The Bone, Pain When Weight Is Put On It. History Of Breaking Medial Melleolus. Advice

I broke my right medial malleolus back in April and have managed to rehabilitate it back to health, however, at work the other day I experienced a lot of discomfort in my right ankle above said area and it feels like there's a lump sitting on/around the bone. At first I thought I'd bruised it but there has been no bruising on my leg and it only hurts when I put weight on it. What could it be? Thankyou.

HI
Thank for choosing HCM,
Malunion of fracture bone is likely in your case, to rule out the possibility of this go for a x-ray study of your leg, this will show the fracture area whether healed properly or not, or is it malunion, or over grow of bony tissue, if turn out normal then, you have to go for physiotherapy, this will help you a lot Have nice Day.
