Did Imol And Augmentin Duo Cause Red Spot On Face?

Hi i m am,.it today i found some red spots on the face of my 17 months old daughter ....seems they are due to heat and also the medicine (Imol and auguminton Duo syp) as from last 3 days she was suffering from fever due to through infection . I m concerning about the spot on her face can we use calio lotion on her face

Hi,

It could be due the antibiotic or some viral infection. Based on the history your daughter has developed red spots on her face which could be either due to the antibiotic augmentin or some viral infection. Yes, a calamine lotion may be used on her face but a pediatric consultation is also recommended to rule out viral infection.
