Endocrinologist 's  Response

1. Your symptoms are normal in early stages of hypothyroidism
2. Usually hypothyroidism starts after an episode of thyroiditis - partial or complete destruction of thyroid tissue leading to decreased thyroid function. This may lead to pain and fullness in the region of neck and may be sometimes associated with increased heart rate, eye pain etc

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help
