Diagnosed With Lax LES And Antral Gastritis. Biopsy And Urea Breath Test Done. Taking Nexium. Are There Side Effects?

I was diagnose having lax LES and antral gastritis. Biopsy did and having a result of h.pylori. Antibiotics done for treated h.plyro. After the treament i was undergo in urea breath test and have had negative result.after 4days i have feeling again of fulling of my stomach like cramping after i ate 2 to 3hrs then i felt relieved when taking nexium. But nexium has a lot of side effects to me and i stop it. I dont wanna take medication for a lifetime. What you could suggest? I'm i candidate for fundoplication? So that i can relieve with this i was suffering now for almost 6months.

Hi, it appears to be a chronic infection, and erosion, it may need to be treated with the medicine tapering the dose so that it may become with out irritation with out the drug also.
After the treatment for H.pylori, i to my patient with such symptoms prescribe omeprazole20mg one in the empty stomach for 20 days, and omeprazole 10mg for one month, and then librax for about 2 months one at night. Thank you.
