Diagnosed GOUT. Left Arm Pain, Shoulder Socket Pain, Elbow Froze. Will It Improve?

I have problems lifting my arm above my shoulder, specifically my left arm, I have a very sharp pain in what feels like it's in my shoulder socket? I was recently diagnosed with gout via a Rheumatologist. My elbow froze for a while, but with stretches, it's coming back. Do you think this could be due to gout? If so, what kind of stretches / exercises could I do to improve / loosen up gout so that I can gain some strength in that arm. I have a hard time doing pushups because the pain can hurt quite a lot. I'm currently taking allopurinol and Colchicine to treat the problem.
