Hello,
The treatment being offered to your father is absolutely right.
The goal of treatment at this age is prevention of future re occurrence of stroke and improvement of body functions.
Blood sugar is not very tightly controlled because of risk of hypoglycemia attacks and so the level of blood sugar of 179 ( PP ) is reasonably all right.
His blood pressure needs little better control and should be below 130/80.

Accumulating evidence also indicates that reduction in low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) levels, even within the "normal range" (i.e., LDL-C The beneficial effect of statin goes beyond simply lipid lowering and this includes anti inflammatory, anti thrombotic and other positive effects on endothelial functions.
Similarly use of aspirin and other platelet lowering drugs is very important in preventing future stroke.
This is the reason your doctor has started STATOR 10 and CLOPITAB A 150 .
Carry on with good physiotherapy exercises as they are very important for him.
Thanks
