Diabetes, Sugar Level And Hba Level Abnormal. On Galvus. Why Is Nothing Working?

I am 67 years old and diabetic from last 2 years. I am taking one tab. of galvus 50 mg in the morning.My fasting sugar level remains between 120-140 and PP between 110-130. Is it abnormal. My hba1c remains between 6.7-7.1. In routine I get PP or Random sugar level checked every month and hba1c once in 3 months. Is it essential to get fasting sugar level also or PP/Random and hba1c are enough to know the blood sugar control.

Galvus can reduce hba1c by 1.2 to 1.5 . But alone it might not be effective. It is required to be taken in cimbination.
