Hello sir.
Don't worry about your skin type. It can be dry on the surface and oily deep down giving rise to periodic acne. So, the precautions that you can take are
1. No hair oil
2. No cold cream on face
3. No self application of steroid creams like Betnovate etc.
4. Avoid touching/picking pimples if they crop up
5. Use oil free sunscreens like UV-AVO lotion
6. Non comedogenic moisturizing creams like venusia, cetaphil can be used on face
7. Wash your face daily with anti-acne bar like perobar (2.5%), acneguard
8. Use a good 2% salicylic acid face wash once a week
9. If the pimples crop up, seek a dermatologist's advise
10. Chemical peeling is good option for attaining glow, faster resolution of pimples and post-pimple pigmentation
