Cut Finger At Second Knuckle Joint, Stitches, Redness And Numbness

i cut my finger 11 days ago. It sliced it in two practically. the shape of it looks like a U from the second knuckle joint up past the first knuckle joint and so there was a flap of skin which has been stitched. The problem is that this flap is now a dark red colour and is numb to the touch. Is there a real problem?

dear one
welcome to H C M
the stitched skin will take its due course of time to come in normal shape.it is not a problem.as you may know that nerves are also damaged along with blood vessels.there is a normal process of healing.numbness will take a little time to come back-normal sensations.please wait,,be under treatment of doctor,,every thing will improve.
