Cramping And Tenderness In Calf, Radiating Pain In Calf On Changing Positions. Have A Cast For Navicular Bone Fracture. Is It DVT?
I had fracture the navicular bone in my foot and am now in a cast which start below my knee and ends before my toes.I have noticed calf cramping a couple of days ago and then started getting tenderness to touch in the calf area.I have also noticed that when I change positions I get radiating pain in the calf area that can last for about an hour or so.Is this DVT?

It can be due to cast also. I would suggest you to remove the cast and get assess by orthopaedic surgeon.You should also try ultrasound of the calf to rule out DVT. I would suggest you to take Brufen for pain relief til then.
