Could Wearing Compression Stockings Persistently Cause Vertigo Like Feeling?

I have been wearing compression stockings for a week due to swelling in my feet and legs. My doctor is running tests. I have to elevate my feet frequently and tonight, when I turn to my side while lying on the floor, the room spins and I feel as if I m going to pass out.

Hi,

Compression stockings does not cause vertigo or dizziness. It may be due to something else probably due to low blood pressure. Check your blood pressure level to rule out hypotension which can present like this. If symptoms persists, you have to consult an ENT specialist to look for any problems associated with your inner ear. As of now you can take drugs like Betahistine for symptomatic relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
