Could Undergoing Arthroscopy ACL Reconstruction Result In Weakened Knees?

Torned my ACL in 2010 after a year I had arthroscopy ACL reconstruction. I have been doing well for 7 months till now twisted my knee again. So i feel like i have torned my ACL again and Doctors in India claims its nothing with Physiotherapy i will be fine but nothing has happened.
