Yesterday morning I had a terrible car accident with my Jeep Liberty. I was reaching for at something that had fallen towards the Jeep s floor. While still driving 30 mph or less heading east in Hampton Bays NY, a open bed pickup truck with large cab and a heavy rear bumper, stopped short to I think make a left into Pete s Deli . I tried to stop and swerve right heading for the grass on the side og the road but unfortunately the left front side of my Jeep Liberty violently smashed into the far right side bumper of the pickup trucks. It was a violent crash. My airbag never deployed whipped front and back to the right side. I do not remember hitting my head on anything but my rear right upper back below the right shoulder blade. I went to the ER for 4 hours. They didn t ask much about my head/brain. I was released and then asked to rest for 3 days, apply heating pads to the back injury and to take Motrin. I slept pretty sound that night and was too wiped out to do anything else. Monday morning I drove east about 8 miles to see my Jeep in the collision shop. On the way east, I could hardly keep my eyes open and had to pull off to the right side of the road and this happened about 5 times till I got to the car shop. There were times when driving east that as a result of nodding off often I would snap out of it and find my self either far right or left. It scared me. All day today, I was real sleeping and once in bed fell right asleep 3 times. It got real scary trying to drive like this Tomorrow morning I have an appointment made a week prior to yesterday s morning accident and will discuss this after accident tiredness. This morning m body felt like it had been run over by a pack of elephants in heat. Did I suffer brain damage ... a concussion ... but I still don t remember hitting anything with my head.
