Could The Material In New Bed Cause Rashes?

I think I ve just figured out why I have this rash...could it be the new mattress topper w/60% polyester and 40% polyurethane as well as the sobokawa pillow w/new material - 100% polystyrene, both have been on my bed for nearly a week? I ve removed both from my bed but now need to wash all bedding, correct? I m seeing my dermatologist on Monday for this condiiton

Hi Dear,

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of rashes which seems to be due to contact dermatitis as you have been constantly exposed and re-exposed to allergen.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you consult a doctor without any delay. Because such allergic reaction can have certain complications like anaphylactic shock, which can be life-threatening. The doctor will treat your symptoms and may prescribe corticosteroid ointment. Till then drink plenty of water and avoid application of anything to rashes. Avoid exposure to sunlight.
