Could The Low Dosage Of Atenolol And Aspirin Be The Cause For Rise In Heart Beat?

I had 1episode of a-fib in 2009. I take 12 1/2 mg atenolol and 325 mg aspirin daily. My normal heart rate is between 56 and 62. 2 days ago I had a more rapid heartbeat 85 and felt a little nauseous. I took 25 mg of my atenolol instead of the usual 12 1/2 mg, and I took 650 mg aspirin instead of my usual 325mg. I waited 15-20 minutes and my heartbeat went down to 62. It was one o clock in morning Saturday so I couldn t call my dr later that day, and I have been ok since. Should I make appt to see my cardiologist to have him check me?
