I had a transvaginal US 3 days ago, which says "the endometrium is 2.4mm thick, abnormal in appearance. It appeared echogenic and thickened with cystic areas throughout the endometrial cavity. It was inhomogeneous in echotexture. A mass was seen within endometrium, which measured 4x2.3x3cm. A dominant vessel was identified". I am really nervous about it. Today my OB/GYN doctor did an endometrium biopsy and this Monday I will go for a saline-infused transvaginal US. Before the result of biopsy comes out, is there something I should know? Will the chance of endometrium carcinoma high in my case?
