Could The Brownish Vomiting In A Disabled Be A Matter Of Concern?

I have a disabled son (age 31) He has a g-tube and his diet is ensure plus. Well he has been vomiting all day. He only had one feeding (400ml) this morning around 9:00 A.M. He is now vomiting brown. I am wondering if I should take him to the hospital? Could the brown vomit be blood? He does not speak.

General Surgeon 's  Response
1) dark chocolate colored brown vomit could be blood.
2) feeding quantity (400 ml) may cause vomiting. If color of vomiting and color of feeding are almost same then not to worry for bleeding.
3) try to reduce feeding quantity at a time (after consulting your physician/surgeon) and consult nutritionist to make diet chart for 24 hour, according to this new feed quantity.
