Could Swelling In Eyes Be Due To Sleeplessness And Insufficient Water Intake?

i woke up this morning with a swollen eye, and i don't know whats wrong with it. My mum said it might be because i don't drink enough water, or sleep enough. And coincidentally enough i do do both of those. does that mean that is the reason? if so, how long will it take to go away? My eyes don't hurt, they are just really annoying, and sometimes itchy.

Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are having swelling in the eye.
Since you are having itching of the eyes this can be because of allergic conjunctivitis.
This requires treatment by the use of antiallergic drugs.

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Hope this information is helpful to you.
Do write back to me for further questions.

Thank you
With regards
