General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Yes, it can be. Intense anxiety can trigger nausea and vomiting. Some people may also feel dizzy, there may be pounding heart, palpitation, confusion, lack of focus and concentration. There might be anorexia, perspiration, lightheartedness and other presentations.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ajeet Singh, General & Family Physician
