My daughter is 8, she has been advised to take Lanzol Junr for 2 weeks. For last 2 days she finds stomach ache after she takes the tab. Is this a side effect? She in general has facing this problem for last 2 days. Even she was advised to take Rantac MPS which dr. now advised to stop.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Lanzol does not cause stomach pain as a side effect. On the contrary, it helps in treating the stomach ache due to the reduction of the acid in the stomach.

I suggest to use Lanzol in the morning before breakfast. I also suggest to avoid food that can trigger the stomach pain.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
