Hello,

Yes, the symptoms can be related to food poisoning. Some advice that I can give to you are:
- Avoid food for the first few hours as your stomach settles down.
- Drink water, broth, or an electrolyte solution, which will replace the minerals that you lose with vomiting
- Eat when you feel ready, but start with small amounts of bland, nonfatty foods such as toast, rice, and crackers.
- Get plenty of rest.
- Take acetaminophen for the fever

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
